How: Through Revitalize Milwaukee’s Building Hope Program

Who: Any individual in need of a sustaining career

Revitalize Milwaukee is offering “Building Hope”, a construction training program which will train individuals in construction for Lead abatement in the Milwaukee area. Once the participant graduates from the program, qualified individuals will be eligible to find work with established lead abatement and construction crews.

Individuals with no formal construction training can complete the Revitalize Milwaukee Building Hope Program. The course is 10 weeks in length and uses the “Carpentry” textbook by Leonard Koel and the accompanying workbook by Thomas E. Proctor. The program will introduce construction safety, hand and power tool use & safety, lead abatement, windows, doors, siding, drywall, soffit, fascia business, and much more.
