This program is funded by:

This program is designed to assist low-income homeowners, in Lindsay Heights, Clarke Square, or VIA (Silver City, Burnham Park, and Layton Park), replacing the roofs over their heads and giving them a safer and more secure place to live.

The neglected condition of roofs is the fastest way to property deterioration. A small leak might not seem like a big deal, until it leaks through ceilings, into walls and through to the foundation. Homeowners who have aging and deteriorating roofs risk losing insurance coverage, and access to other resources

Leaks and other damage not only make homes uncomfortable, but also present serious safety and health hazards, exposing children to harmful contaminants like lead and allergens. Critical roof repairs are costly and can be prohibitive on a fixed income.

The impact this program will make is significant. Not only will it improve the quality of life for low-income homeowners, but it will also revitalize entire neighborhoods.
